Vols fans are still after Lane Kiffin.
MrSEC.com tipped us off to a blog post on a Knoxville radio personality’s Web site that is soliciting donations for a billboard to be place in Los Angeles.
What does it say?
The billboard would cost $5,600 for a month in August, and there is a link to click to make a donation. So far $1,300 has been collected.
Meanwhile, Kiffin is doing everything he possibly can to hang on to prized recruit Seantrel Henderson. The offensive lineman from Minnesota failed to show up to a scheduled orientation last week, leading Kiffin, Ed Orgeron, offensive line coach James Cregg and Monte Kiffin to take a private jet Monday to make sure the signee was still was committed.
Henderson’s father, Sean, had no comment when reached by the Pioneer Press. Seantrel didn’t return phone messages.
Henderson didn’t sign his letter of intent with USC on Signing Day because he wanted reassurances that the Trojans weren’t going to be hit hard by NCAA sanctions. He eventually signed in March. But the NCAA came down hard on USC earlier this month, with a two-year bowl ban, the loss of 30 scholarships, and four years’ probation.
